HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast six of the Sprinters Stakes Day races from Nakayama Racecourse, Japan on Sunday 2 October 2016. On the same evening, two races of the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe Day to be held at Chantilly Racecourse, France will be simulcast. Bets will be accepted* for these overseas races and Winning Region (Composite Win) will also be offered for Prix de l'Opera and Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.
The Winning Region composites will be defined at 8:30 pm on 1 October and tickets sales will be available after that time.
Race times and betting pools
The first race of the Sprinters Stakes Day will start at 12:25 pm on Sunday 2 October. These overseas races will be scheduled as Simulcast Race 1 (S1-1) to Race 6 (S1-6). The first race of the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe Day will start at 9:20 pm on the same evening and these overseas races will be scheduled as Simulcast Race 7 (S1-7) to Race 8 (S1-8). 'S1' must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or through Interactive Services** on overseas races should mark the “S1 box” and race number of the overseas race on the ticket or as required by the Interactive Services interfaces. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input 'overseas race' and the race number respectively.
If S1 or “Overseas race” is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted
as bets for the corresponding local race.
Odds and starter information for overseas races
The odds and starter information for overseas races will be available at all OCBBs, via Interactive Services, and on the Odds and Information Hotline 1835888.
