Ken’s Dream

Hampered by the winner at 600m when 2.75 lengths 4th to Flying Artie in G 3 Blue Sapphire Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield on 12 October. That followed a win and second in two starts this course and distance, beating home rival Dam Ready on each occasion.

Two good runs this distance, including long neck 2nd to Saracino in Flemington 1200m G 2 Danehill Stakes before over-racing when up in trip and finishing 3.45 lengths 9th to Sacred Elixir in G 3 Caufield Guineas Prelude (1400m) on 24 September.

Dalradian

Carried blinkers again and set fast pace when sound 1.25 lengths 2nd to Flying Artie in G 3 Blue Sapphire Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield on 12 October. That was improvement, with the blinkers, on 4.4 lengths 6th to Benz and stablemate Ken’s Dream in 1200m race here on 30 September.

Highland Beat

Beaten for speed and worked home fairly when 4.8 lengths 7th to Flying Artie in G 3 Blue Sapphire Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield on 12 October. Won only start this track.

Dam Ready

Runner-up to Ken’s Dream here at 1200m on 20 August before 2.1 lengths 5th to Saracino in G 2 Danehill Stakes (1200m) at Flemington on 10 September. Ran well without much luck, last time, when 1.1 lengths 3rd to Benz and Ken’s Dream in Moonee Valley 1200m Handicap on 30 September.

Palladian

Ran 2 lengths 2nd to Niccolance (who’s won again) in Rosehill 1100m 3YO Maiden on 28 September before long neck win from Missile Strike in Warwick Farm 1100m 3YO Maiden on 12 October. Improving.

Matty

Won only two starts on Pakenham synthetic track at 1000m. Impressive last time when scored by 2.75 lengths from Captain Crackerjak in BM 64 Handicap. Up in class and distance but shows good promise.

Invincible Joy

Won and placed at 1000m in two runs on Geelong synthetic track before fair 4.25 lengths 10th to Barthelona in Caulfield 1100m 3YO Handicap, on soft ground, on 17 September.

Terindah

Easy Kilmore 1100m Maiden winner on 26 September at first run for 11 months before 1.5 lengths 2nd to promising galloper Falcool in Warrnambool 1100m 3YO BM 64 Handicap on 5 October. Could surprise.

Crafted

Maiden who has shown ability with two placings from two runs. Ran on well when 1.2 lengths 2nd to So You Too in Morphettville 1200m 3YO BM 70 Handicap on 8 October.

Big John Cannon

Vet reported respiratory issue after his debut 7 lengths 6th to Secret Obsession in Bendigo 1100m Maiden on heavy ground on 6 October.

The Veal Thing

First start for new stable. Ran on well when 0.75 lengths win from Divertente in Echuca 1100m 3YO Fillies Maiden on 3 October. Best form has been on heavy tracks.
