Permission has been granted for Club Jockey Silvestre de Sousa to be absent from Hong Kong in order to partner THAKIF in the Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Cup (Group 1) to be conducted at Abu Dhabi Racecourse on Sunday, 13 November 2016. This riding commitment was made prior to Jockey de Sousa commencing his current agreement with the Club.
Jockey de Sousa will depart Hong Kong after races on Saturday, 12 November and return to Hong Kong on Tuesday, 15 November. As such, he will not miss a Hong Kong race meeting.
