1200m – Turf

1

Sir Isaac

Four starts for three seconds over 1200m on turf and Poly. He has had a short let-up since his narrow second last start on 21 Aug when nabbed close home. He was scratched last week in the race won by stablemate and could be kept for this race.

2

One Kinabalu

Four starts for a second and a third. He stepped up on two fifths to finish second over 1400m in early June and then spelled. He resumed on 23 Oct for a 1.5-length third over 1200m. He will take benefit from the run.

3

Ace King

He is an unraced three-year-old New Zealand-bred newcomer by Swiss Ace out of Atomic Dancer. He showed in his trials (two wins and two seconds from four jumps) that he is poised to score first time out.

4

Dayflirt

One start for a second, coming off four unplaced barrier trials and coming from midfield to finish 2.8 lengths behind the winner over the Polytrack 1000m on 4 Nov. He is bound to improve and merits some attention.

5

Elite Emperor

He has had only one start after a third and a fourth from the trials. Last from barrier-rise on 23 Oct, he beat only two home and was eight lengths behind the winner. He still needs to learn the ropes.

6

Lim's Stardom

He is a three-year-old Australian-bred newcomer by Star Witness out of Expertise. He has had five trials leading to his debut and his last two efforts were not bad, finishing a 2-length second and a 3.6-length sixth. Monitor the market.

7

Mozart Eclipse

He made his debut only on 6 Nov and was thereabouts for a 3.9-length fifth over 1200m on turf and the back-up looks a bit too soon for a youngster. Both his trials leading to the race were just ordinary.

8

Paragon Star

His debut third, closing in to finish 6.6 lengths behind the winner over 1200m on the Polytrack, was not a bad effort. He also showed some ability in his three trials, which included a third. He galloped well on Tuesday and is worth some consideration.

9

Perfect Commando

He came in for some support in his 4 Nov debut on his impressive trial victory but fared disappointingly, finishing 7.1 lengths behind the winner. He failed to show the speed which he possesses. He can be given another chance.

10

Siam Gemstone

A three-year-old Australian-bred newcomer by the fashionable Darci Brahma out of Savamour, he appears to have a sporting chance on the strength of his trials. From three jumps, he secured a win, a second and a third.

11

Special Rain

He has had two starts, both unplaced and both times not supported, but his debut fifth was not that bad. He was crowded and finished just 3.6 lengths behind. Expect some improvement now that he has had two runs under his belt.

12

Tannhauser

The three-year-old New Zealand-bred newcomer by Tavistock out of Foxette showed from his two trials, which yielded an impressive all-the-way win and a second, that he could run a good first-up race.

13

Super Genius

This filly ran a creditable race in her only start, after a second and a fourth in her lead-up trials. She raced on the pace to finish a 3.1-length fourth over the Poly 1100m on 21 Oct. With improvement, expect her to go well.

14

Military Might

This US-bred newcomer by Gemologist out of Lemon Pop Lassie is the only two-year-old in the race and gets some reprieve from his older rivals but, on his only trial effort, it is hard to see him topple his rivals here.

15

Jango

He was a backmarker in his only start and finished 12 of 14 over 1200m on 30 Oct. Although he finished fourth in his trial, he was a street behind. He needs more races to earn consideration.

16

Perfect DJ

After three trials, which yielded a second, he made his debut on 27 Aug but raced in the rear and finished 9.4 lengths behind the winner. He has gone through two more trials for a fourth but don't expect him to improve overnight.
