The Hong Kong Jockey Club’s races will be available to more than 12 million households in the United Kingdom through the distribution network of At The Races and Racing UK, the Club announced Friday. Broadcasts on At The Races commenced on 23 November while Racing UK coverage begins next Wednesday, 7 December.
“These distribution arrangements will well-serve customers in our newest commingling territory, bringing the highly competitive Hong Kong racing product into the homes of some of the world’s most knowledgeable racing fans,” said Mr. Richard Cheung, Executive Director, Customer and Marketing. “The timing of this is ideal considering our most notable week of racing, highlighted by the LONGINES International Jockeys’ Championship on 7 December and the LONGINES Hong Kong International Races on 11 December, will feature many familiar faces and form lines to U.K. customers.”
The United Kingdom became the latest jurisdiction to begin commingling into the Club’s tote pools.
