The Stewards have been advised by Dr Peter Curl, Executive Manager, Veterinary Regulation, that PURE SENSATION, trained by Christophe Clement and previously reported to be lame in its left hind leg on Wednesday, 7 December 2016, is currently being treated for left fore foot lameness and accordingly, did not undertake track work this morning. The horse's condition continues to be monitored.
In accordance with established practice, a pre-race veterinary inspection of all horses declared to run at Sha Tin on Sunday, 11 December 2016 will be performed tomorrow morning in order to assess each horse's suitability to race. A further release in respect of PURE SENSATION's suitability to participate in the aforementioned race will be issued after this time.
