The Stewards have been advised by Dr Peter Curl, Executive Manager, Veterinary Regulation, that PURE SENSATION, trained by Christophe Clement and previously reported to have lameness issues, underwent a routine pre-race veterinary inspection this morning in order to assess the horse's suitability to race.
Dr Curl advised that whilst the horse has improved it remains lame in the left front foot. PURE SENSATION will continue to be monitored with a final decision on its suitability to race likely to be made tomorrow morning.
