The Stewards have been provided with written advice from the New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing that CIRCUIT HASSLER (A041), formerly named as THE HASSLER, wore blinkers in eight of its eleven race starts conducted in New Zealand.
Mr A S Cruz, trainer of CIRCUIT HASSLER, has requested he be permitted to race the horse in blinkers without it being subjected to a blinkers test. Mr Cruz’s request has been approved.
