RACE 1 – THUNDER DASH
The Clinical Veterinary Surgeon reported that THUNDER DASH was lame in in its left front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, THUNDER DASH will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
RACE 7 – GOAL FOR GOLD
GOAL FOR GOLD, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. GOAL FOR GOLD was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer P O’Sullivan yesterday morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, GOAL FOR GOLD will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted yesterday morning of all other horses inspected during last Saturday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
