Freelance Jockey Keith M L Yeung sustained an injury to his left ankle when jumping from the barriers on HAPPY YEAH YEAH in Batch 2 of the Sha Tin All Weather barrier trials this morning. Jockey Yeung has advised that he has been having treatment to his injured ankle and will undergo a medical assessment tomorrow morning to determine whether he will be fit to fulfill his riding engagements at the Sha Tin race meeting on Sunday, 22 January 2017.
A further release will be issued at the appropriate time in relation to Jockey Yeung’s fitness to be able to resume riding.
