Top class, straight track sprinter who boasts two wins, four placings from six starts this course. Finished hard in nose win from Spieth in G1 Lightning Stakes (1000m) here on 18 February. Ran 3rd this race in 2015.

Won five of ten starts. Unlucky when nose 2nd to Malaguerra in G1 Darley Classic (this distance) last November and beaten the same narrow margin when 2nd to Terravista in G1 Lightning Stakes (1000m) here on 18 February.

Won five races at the track including this race last year with 6lb less weight. Scratched at barriers Lightning Stakes 18 February. Not raced since November when 4.2 lengths 6th to Malaguerra in G1 Darley Classic at this track. Won the G2 Gilgai Stakes (1200m) at first run of last campaign.

Sheidel

Smart mare who led throughout, under Moreira, to win G1 Oakleigh Plate (1100m) at Caulfield on 25 February. Two straight course runs for 1100m win and 3.75 lengths 5th to Malaguerra in G1 Darley Classic (1200m).

Voodoo Lad

Resumes from spell and note that no horse has won this race first-up since 1917. Not raced since October when 5 lengths 12th to Le Romain in G1 Cantala Stakes (1600m) which was the first time he was unplaced in 18 start career. Has won three of his four fresh runs.

Extreme Choice

Talented three-year-old who was the best of the closing runners when 1.1 lengths 3rd to Sheidel in G1 Oakleigh Plate (1100m) at Caulfield on 25 February. That was first run since October when 2.2 lengths 5th to stablemate Flying Artie in G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m) at this track. Moreira rides.

Illustrious Lad

Brave effort facing the breeze when 0.8 lengths 5th to Terravista in G1 Lightning Stakes (1000m) here on 18 February. That was first run since November when nose 2nd to Lucky Hussler in G3 Heffernan Stakes (1300m) at Sandown. Good record straight 1200m course.

Tivaci

Resumed from spell with strong finishing head win from El Divino in Listed Kensington Stakes (1000m) here on 28 January. Runner-up to Faatinah at only 1200m start here and likes his runs spaced.

Star Turn

Talented 3YO sprinter who ran well when 0.2 lengths 3rd to Terravista in G1 Lightning Stakes (1000m) here on 18 February. Previous run was in the G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m) here on 29 October when 1.3 lengths 3rd behind Flying Artie.

Super Cash

Impressive 1.25 lengths winner from I Am A Star in G2 Rubiton Stakes (1100m) at Caulfield on 11 February at first run since November.  Was first home on slower inside section of track when 1.4 lengths 4th to Sheidel in G3 race at 1100m at most recent run down the straight course.

Counterattack

Had little luck in running when 2.6 lengths 8th to Terravista in G1 Lightning Stakes (1000m) here on 18 February. That was first run since October when 1.25 lengths 2nd to Illustrious Lad in G2 Linlithgow Stakes (1200m) at this track.

Redkirk Warrior

Former UK and then HK galloper who has run well only two starts in Australia. Finished well when 0.4 lengths 2nd to Sir Bacchus in Moonee Valley 1200m Handicap on 21 October and then beat the smart Stratum Star in G3 Sandown Stakes (1500m) on 12 November.

Consistent galloper but up in class. Backs up from last Saturday when 2.1 lengths 4th to He Or She in a G3 (1400m) at this track. Ran 3rd and 5th two previous starts down straight course.
