Race 2 – FANTASTICLIFE
FANTASTICLIFE, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. FANTASTICLIFE was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C Fownes this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front and both hind legs. As previously advised, FANTASTICLIFE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
Race 6 – MEGATRON
The Veterinary Officer reported that MEGATRON was lame in its right hind leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, MEGATRON will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Race 7 – WHY WHY
WHY WHY, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. WHY WHY was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer A Lee this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front and left hind legs. Before being allowed to race again, WHY WHY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
