The Stewards have been informed by the Veterinary Officer that SUNNY ORIENT, a declared starter in the Daegu Handicap (Race 3), became fractious when being transported to Happy Valley from Sha Tin and has sustained abrasions to its left hind leg. The Veterinary Officer has reported that at this time SUNNY ORIENT is suitable to race, however, the horse will be reassessed closer to race time.
