Instruction 5(2)(i) of the Club’s Rules of Racing provides that any horse from overseas and invited to compete in an international race conducted by the Club may, with the permission of the Stewards, wear any item of approved gear in the saddling area, the parade ring and on the way to the start (but not in a race) on condition that such tack/gear has previously been approved to be worn by a Recognised Racing Authority.
Accordingly, the Stewards have approved NEOREALISM to wear a Hood in the parade ring, and on the way to the start but not during the stated race.
