Freelance Jockey Matthew Chadwick, who was stood down from riding during the Sha Tin race meeting on Sunday, 30 April, has advised the Stewards that he has been diagnosed with having sustained a stress fracture to his right foot. Jockey Chadwick has further advised that his right foot has been placed in a cast with the injury to be medically re-assessed on Monday, 15 May 2017. A further release will be issued at the appropriate time in relation to Jockey Chadwick’s fitness to be able to resume riding.
