HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast the six of the Derby Stakes Day races from Epsom Downs Racecourse, UK on Saturday, 3 June 2017. Besides, Yasuda Kinen to be held at Tokyo Racecourse, Japan will be simulcast as part of the Sha Tin day meeting on Sunday, 4 June 2017. And the Prix du Jockey Club to be held at Chantilly Racecourse will be simulcast live from France in the same evening on Sunday, 4 June. Bets will be accepted* for these overseas races.
Tickets sales for Derby Stakes Day will be available from 12:00 noon on Friday 2 June, while tickets sales for Yasuda Kinen and the Prix du Jockey Club will be available from 12:00 noon on Saturday 3 June.
Race times and betting pools
The first race of the Derby Stakes Day will start from 9:00 pm on Saturday 3 June. These overseas races will be scheduled as S1-1 to S1-6.
Yasuda Kinen is due to start at 2:40 pm on Sunday 4 June, when ten local races will be held at Sha Tin Racecourse on the same afternoon. The Prix du Jockey Club will start from 10:15 pm on the same evening. These overseas races will be scheduled as S2-1 and S2-2 respectively and the local races have been scheduled as Races 1 to 10. 'S1' or ‘S2’ must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or through Interactive Services** on overseas races should mark the “S1 box” or “S2 box” and race number of the overseas race on the ticket or as required by the Interactive Services interfaces. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input 'overseas race' and the race number respectively.
If “S1”, “S2” or “Overseas race” is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.
