Increase in deduction rate of Operator Reserve for Six Up to provide more jackpot opportunities

 

To provide more jackpot opportunities, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (¡§the Club¡¨) will increase the deduction rate for the Six Up Operator Reserve (taken from the Club¡¦s revenue) from 0.5% to 2% starting from the race meeting on 3 April 2024.

 

The Club set up the Six Up Operator Reserve last year and provided extra Six Up jackpot opportunities, which were welcomed by the race-goers. Going forward, the Club will deduct 2% of the pool turnover from the Club¡¦s revenue after the dividend payout, and this amount will be allocated to the Operator Reserve to top up jackpots for the Six Up pool at specific race meetings.
