5.1 Live Broadcasting of Races in OCB branches Starting this new season, customers at Off Course Betting (OCB) branches will see and feel the excitement of all races as thousands of racegoers at the racecourses do. TV facilities will be installed at 80 Jockey Club's OCB branches, bringing customers live racing scenes, odds, dividends, as well as the latest betting and racing information. TV footage of trackwork performance, information on racing and betting, upcoming racing events and Club's services will also be announced on TV during non-racing days. Such facilities will be installed throughout most of the OCB branches during the season. The installation of TV sets depends on the physical environment and design of different OCB branches, with TV screen size varies from 25 inches to 61 inches.   5.2 Staff in new uniform Staff at OCB branches and racecourses will put on new uniforms in the new season. Designed by famous local designer Margaret Ha, the uniform will use navy blue as the theme colour. The stylish tailored suits in navy blue and shirts in light blue create a professional image for the staff. Designs of the uniform also vary with different post, for customers' easy identification.   5.3 Siu Sai Wan OCB branch opens A new OCB branch, the Siu Sai Wan OCB branch at Shops 304-305, Siu Sai Wan Shopping Centre will open on 1 September. With a floor area of around 250 sq. metres, the branch has 10 betting windows and 12 self-vending terminals, and is equipped with a giant 61 inches TV and two 29 inches TVs to bring live broadcasting of races to customers. On non-racing days, the branch is also available for community activities. 5.4 24 OCB branches provide early betting service Shanghai OCB branch at Shanghai Street, Yau Ma Tei, will join the other 23 OCB branches that open early at 8:00 am on Saturdays, when day meetings are held.
